Bush Blowout Alert

According to this report Bush is gaining some support among black voters:

Now, a growing number of churchgoing blacks are giving his candidacy a second thought and will be crucial votes in battleground states such as Pennsylvania as Bush tries to win re-election.

The Republican president finds himself in the unlikely position of winning more black votes because black Americans oppose same-sex marriage proportionally more than most Americans. Bush wants to ban it through constitutional amendment, while Democratic nominee John Kerry opposes such an amendmen

Remember--Bush doesn't need to win major support from the black vote. He only needs to get enough support to de-energize the black vote for Kerry. The Democratic party cannot win an election anywhere without the black vote solidly in their pocket. Anything that splits that group is pure gold for the GOP.
